Are Joints Pain In Arms And Leg, Nausea Suggestive Of Having Systemic Lupus Erythematosus?
I have pain in my joints and in the muscle of my arms and legs, like a deep bone pain between my joints. I tire easily and get nauseated for no reason. I do have RA and have been told I have systemic lupus as well. What exactly is systemic lupus? Are my symptoms consistent with systemic lupus? I don t trust the doctor that diagnosed me with this and plan to get a second opinion with a different doctor. Any enlightenment you could provide would be appreciated.
dear friend both the diseases are auto immune diseases and can co exist though reported very rarely also arthritis is a common feature of both diseases. even many of the investigation done can be common in both. systemic lupus is a connective disease which can have 1.Malar rash 2 Discoid lupus 3 Photosensitive 4 Oral ulcers 5 Serositis 6 Renal involvement 7 CNS disease
your symptoms are consistant with both the conditions.
the treatment modalities too are similar so either if treated will keep both under check if you could share with us the full test reports may be some more clarity can be achieven and a better suggestion can be given
