Hi,
First and foremost, the testicular condition is very very unlikely to be related to
prostate problem. Now from your message, I am not sure about his symptoms. For prostate, the usual symptom is a recurrent urge to urinate, especially at night.
The testes, on the other hand causes a different set of symptoms, which include-pain, swelling and
redness in the scrotal area; any form of discharge from the penis; nausea or
vomiting often with pain; difficulty in micturition; pain in other parts of body especially the back and lower abdomen. Breast enlargement or tenderness is also seen in select patients.
I would ask you not to worry if these symptoms are not present. You may also test a
ultrasound of the
scrotum (which the
urologist may have already done for diagnosis prostate condition). The normal size is approximately 2 inches and one of the testes is somewhat larger than the other usually.
If the reported size is larger than that, you may speak to your urologist again, or let us know the details (about symptoms and the report). I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
