Are Light Headedness, Trouble Swallowing And Genital Herpes Symptoms Of HIV?
Hello Doctor. I m in my teens and I am afraid of the fact that I might have HIV. I looked up the symptoms of HIV and heard that trouble swallowing, light headaches, and genetal herpes are symptoms and I believe I have them all. I recently grew something on the head of my private area and it stings when I pee or when it comes in contact with anything else. If I do have genetal herpes than will I also grow cold sores on my lips? Keep in mind that I have never been in any type of sexual innercorse. And havnt came in contact with any one else is seman, blood, or saliva. Do I have HIV? Or herpes? Or am I just experiencing something different.
If you have no sexual exposure than herpes or HIV could not be possible. However, from intimal skin contact with infected persons can spread Herpes. But HIV could not spread without sexual intercourse. So don't worry about HIV.
To exclude herpes possibility kindly attach the image, so that I can check it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
