Are Light Spotting And Vaginal Discharge Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
I have been having typical pregnancy symptoms for about two weeks now.I already have one child, and I have not had a period since before she was born. A few days ago, I had very light spots of blood, and I also have vaginal discharge. I am extremely tired, like I can barely stay up past 7pm, and I have been hungry, and urinating more frequently. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests that have come up negative, but I feel pregnant.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. * Pregnancy while lactating is possible,The light bleeding with vaginal discharge can be due to implantation bleeding .UPT done may be too early to be positive, In such you should go for blood HCG test to exclude/confirm pregnancy. * Frequent urination with mild urinary infection along with starting with menses after delivery may imitate the symptoms you have ( hormonal shuffle up to normal & infection) Urine routine examination/ culture if needful along with physical check up by your doctor should guide for management. Thanks.
