Are Loss Of Appetite And Headaches Side Effects Of Lexapro?

I took Lexapro for ten years and weaned myself off. I have been off of it for two months. I started experiencing depression again and went back on two days ago. Today I was unable to stay awake, have no appetite and a mild headache. I did not experience these side effects in the past. Should I continue taking it? Could these effects go away?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Lexapro is having escitalopram.
It is benzodiazepine group of drug useful in anxiety.
It is not useful in depression.
Your current symptoms are more suggestive of depression.
So better to stop Lexapro and consult psychiatrist.
Get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anti depressant drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
