So would also need a reason for this concern why baby is not seen in the sack? Regards Shilpa
Hi, Thanks for the query. Thyroid hormonal abnormalities can affect fertility and pregnancy. Better to continue the medicines prescribed by your doctor. You should take foods rich in iodine. Iodized salt, sea food etc are beneficial. For more details : http://hypothyroidisma.com/hypothyroidism-diet.php Usually by 6 completed weeks, ultrasound can able to detect the embryo. But as fetal pole is absent in your case even after 8 weeks, there is possibility of blighted ovum. In case of wrong dates, better to repeat the ultrasound after one week. Take care.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The low levels of thyroid hormones, vitamin D 3 levels and decreased platelet count are all harmful for the pregnancy. You need to consult an endocrinologist to get your proper doses adjusted. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
