Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi.my right testicle seems to have changed position during the night,it feels a little weird there is no pain or swelling or anything, it just feels like it has kind of flipped upside down (definitely not twisted though)!?is this normal.as it is a bit worrying?! Thanks
Little bit variation in position may occur due to temperature changes or cremesteric muscles movements and both testes may not contract or relax exactly in the same manner all over the area. However, since it is painless it's not likely due to torsion. Yet, if it persists or swelling increases then a urologist review and ultrasound may be needed to rule out any varicocele or hydrocele.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
