Are Nasal Bleeding And Swelling Post A Fall In A Child A Cause For Concern?

Hi Doc, my 3 year old was running, tripped and fell, hitting across the bridge of his nose on a table. It happened about half an hour ago, it s a bit swollen and he has had a little bleeding from his nose but that has stopped. He seems ok but do I need to take him to the hospital? Could there be other issues I m not aware of.......

Thank you that you are interested how cure your child in HCM. You are very careful mother. I understand your concern. If bleeding has stopped and baby calmed, that you should just observe for him/her. You can apply small amount Trombophob for decreasing swelling. If bleeding will repeat then you can put in nostril tampon(swab) from cotton for 5 min.
