Are Nausea And Upset Stomach Normal During Periods?

Is it normal to randomly get nauseous and have an upset stomach during your menstrual period? Also I have acid reflux and today I ate a pepper jack grilled cheese and a bag of chocolate covered pretzels (do you think what I ate could have triggered my stomach ache due to my acid reflux and menstrual period?)
