They said that they do NAT and elisa tests to donated blood. My nat and elisa both are non reacrive. I want to know that, these tests are conclusive and enough.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In the window period is three and 12 weeks. some rare cases, some people can take as long as six months to develop antibodies.
During this time test will be Negative.
NAT looks for virus you have to take early and see.
So wait for window period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
