Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 30 year old female and was diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia in July of 2016. In the time leading up to my diagnosis I experienced night sweats. I was taken off the meds (bromocriptine) in June 2017 because my levels remained low. I return to the doctor in December to see if my levels rose since being off the meds and I recently have been experiencing night sweats again. Is this a symptom of hyperprolactinemia?
The reason could be something else like thyroid issue or diabetes or any other hormonal problems should be ruled out. I suggest you to do a full check up to understand the cause of your symptoms.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help. Regards, dr.Dorina Gurabardhi
