Are Nodule In Left Lung And Hazy Density In Lower Lobes A Cause For Concern?

I`VE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A 6mm NODULE IN LEFT LUNG AND HAVE BEEN TOLD TO TAKE ANOTHER CT SCAN IN 3 MONTHS. SHOULD I GET ANOTHER OPINION OR COULD IT BECOME MALIGNANT IN THAT 3 MONTHS ? It also says that I have a tiny calcified granuloma left lower lobe and Some hazy density in both lower lobes that probably represents dependent atelectasis. I am worried because I was extremely exposed to second hand smoke for 5 years. Should I be worried?

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with diagnosed 6mm nodule with a tiny calcified granuloma at left lung zone by a CT scan with history of smoking I will suggest you have developed a lung cancer

In view of this please schedule an appointment with an oncologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
