Are Numb And Tingly Body, Swollen Hands With Chills Concerning?
I woke up the last few mornings with numb tingly hands and arms...thinking it was the way I slept, I ignored it. However, I have been experiencing tingly pins and needle feelings all over my body all day today. My hands have been swollen for the past few weeks. I have been freezing at night and have chills but no fever. I have hypothyroidism, but saw my doctor last week and my blood test was fine. I do smoke.

Initially the symptoms could be due to the poor posture during sleeping but later on this could be due to anxiety and depression, you really need to keep the stress level low, I would give you some more specific advise if you had given information about age and gender, this is the very important information need to be given in medical, take care.

Such tingling and numbness of arms could be due to poor posture of head and neck, or could be due to degenerative disease of cervical spine, in my opinion these need to be ruled out and underlying cause need to be found out, take care.
