Are Numbness In Hands And Feet The Symptoms Of UTI?

My mother currently has a UTI. Over the past few days she has experienced her hands and feet going numb, uncontrollable freezing, sudden fallen asleep and a bout of confusion. Could this have anything to do with the UTI or are these symptoms of something bigger?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Symptoms of your mother are unlikely to be related to urinary tract infection. Get her blood pressure and sugar levels and thyroid profile done .As abnormality in any of these may cause the above symptoms.

Thank you,
Take care
