I have done vaginal swab and the results are: Occasional pus cells seen few epithelial cells seen many gram negative bacilli seen moderate gram positive cocci seen few budding yeast cells seen ISOLATE 1: Candida albicans scanty growth what does it mean?
The vaginal swab shows presence of gram negative bacilli. Culture sensitivity needs to be done to isolated the causative organism and thus select most suitable antibiotic against it.
