Are On And Off Headaches With Bulging Feeling In Left Eye And Head A Cause For Concern?

For the past four days I ve been having headaches along with a bulging sensation in my left eye. I haven t hit my head either, but it seems to be getting worse. Tonight I felt a bulge on the top of my head near the crown that hurts to put pressure on. Is this something I should worry about?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Do you have blurring vision or vision like tunnel with this eye? Do you have running nose?

A sinus infection or glaucoma can lead to similar symptoms. Anyway, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam, performing a sinus X-ray study and checking your eyes at the ophthalmologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
