Are Only 44% Working Of The Kidneys A Cause For Concern?
If my kidneys are only working at 44 percent do I have a serious problem and what can I do about it my weight is 194, I have high blood pressure controlled and a family history of heart attacks, two brothers who passed with heart attracts at 38 and my mom at 78. I m see a dr who told me that since my last ck up my kidney and wright have not changed and to keep doing what I ve been doing
Based on your introduction, 44% of spared function of kidneys indicates that you're on stage 3B of chronic kidney disease or in other words you have moderately reduced kidney function, that requires observation, control of blood pressure and risk factors. Also your family history of heart attacks may require screening for Familial Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
All the best!
