Are Optic Nerve Damage And Burning Sensation In Arms Suggestive Of Having MS?
neurologists recently suggested i get MRI of my brain after my nerve conduction study of upper and lower extremities came back normal. he suggest CNS damage and MS i have optic nerve damage 90% in left eye and 45-55% in right eye. Im having episode of burning painful redness worse than sun burn on arms and knees. last episode was one month ago. i didnt sleep last night from burning pain in ankles and feet. Skin it also hot to touch. Could this be from MS?
Yes, it might be, however, there are also non specific forms of MS. Nevertheless the first step in diagnose is head MRI and after the result the neurologist will decide further.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
