Are Ovarian Cysts Malignant?

I am 50 years old and have not gone through menapause. I had a partial hystorectomy three years ago still have both ovaries. I have pain in right side and had a CT Scan where they found 3 cysts. What are my next steps and should I be worried. Is there a blood test that would detect cancer?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Many ovarian cysts are benign and are not associated with problems but you can do blood tests to check for possible ovarian cancer.

The Ca125 blood test can be done. Your doctor can request this for you if it can be done at your local lab.

I hope this helps
