I did a test on p24 , Hiv 1 & 2 on 20 days post exposure. The report came back negetive . my Dr told me that this test is 98% accurate and no need for anymore test as three report support each other. The indicative date from the Lab in my country is 2 weeks post exposure. but as i found out from the internet is 28 days . is there any different in result tested on 20 days or 28 day and changes to change to positive after 29 days onward ? i was extreamly worry .
First of all don't worry. HIV testing certainly depends on the protocol of the country you are staying. Single test is not authentic and is not advised . Visit to a centre which tests as per protocol of the country and get correct and scientific information about HIV /AIDS from there . This will dispel all your worries .
