Are Pain, Discomfort And Swelling In Penis After A Lithotripsy Normal?
Hello, I just had lithotripsy done yesterday and now my penis is swelling and I m having a lot of pain and discomfort in the foreskin of my penis. I have called the hospital where it was done at with no answer all day so I m just wanting to know if this is normal or should I go be seen in the E.R. for it? Thank you, Tommy
Lithotripsy is a treatment which involves shock waves to crush urinary tract stones for their easy removal. Swelling in the penis may or may not be related to lithotripsy procedure. I suggest you consult your urologist for the possible cause and treatment of penile swelling.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
