Are Pain In Neck, Shoulder, Left Arm And Elbow Signs Of Pinched Nerve?

I think I have a pinched nerve in my neck. I am experiencing pain (all on my left side) at my neck, onto my shoulder, in the back near the main bone that sticks out, down my side and also down my left arm into the elbow. The elbow pain resembles pain that I ve had with bursitis. I had cervical surgery about a year ago and my neck often hurts and burns but this is the first time it also extends down my shoulder, onto my back and in the upper arm and elbow. Thank you, Sheri

Hello,

As you had neck surgery in the past at which level you had the surgery? is more important to understand. Also, there are chances of having disc injury again if the posture isn't correct or the muscle isn't stronger enough to stabilize the spine.

As you are right, this is cervical Radiculopathy symptoms due to a pinched nerve. Having an MRI will be of advice.

Post which based on what the report says we have to take a call. Like most cases need physiotherapy management for such symptoms to post surgery and they respond well to it.

I will advice to take an MRI and see if a competitive physiotherapist will be able to help you as surgery again will not be a good choice to look out for.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
