Are Painful Blisters And Tingling In Genitals Signs Of Bacterial Vaginosis?
I had painful tingling on my genitals and a few days later a single blister developed. It was very painful and healed itself with a week. Six months later it happens again painful tingling sensation and then a single blister develops. This time, I rush to the urgent care center and the doctor takes a swab of the blister/ulcer. The doctor returns after viewing the culture & says there was no evidence of white blood cells which would have been present if I had a herpes infection. He did diagnosis me with bacterial vaginosis. Now here I am 4 months later and it happened again, painful tingling, blister develops. What should I do?
Hi, It seems that you might require one full course of antibiotic and Metrogyl for 7 days to get complete cure of this infection. Keep your local hygiene clean and healthy particularly during period time. Take plenty of water and liquids. Ok and take care.
