Are Premolute Injections And Progesterone Necessary For Normal Pregnancy?
Hi,
Iam 35 yrs and as per my Doctor iam into my seventh week of my first pregnancy.I never had any miscarriage and all my test reports are fine .This is my first baby and want it to be a normal delivery.But when i last visited my doctor in 6 week she gave me 2 premolute injection in one go and prescribed me progesteron for a month.Dont know whether its required in my case or no since everything is fine still do i need to take all this.Iam already taking vitamin supplements and folic acid.I dont want to have a cesarian baby.pls advice me whether injection and medication is required in my case.

Your doctor might have either seen signs of a threatened abortion, low hormone levels, bad obstetric history, or possibly even poor growth and development of the fetus which is why you were advised the same. I would recommend following your doctors orders as were given.
