Are Recurring Weakness And Numbness In The Arms Related To Pinched Nerves?

I have occasionally been having a weakness and numbness in both arms between my elbows and shoulders. It will last for about a minute and go away. This has been happening for a while. Would it be related to back and neck problems or pinched nerves. I have had issues with those for years
