Are Reddish Rashes And Yellowish Discharge Around Penis Symptoms Of STD?
I am showing sypmtoms of an STD. I have a redish rash around the base of my penis and have experience some clear to yellowish discharge during the night. I have a frequent feeling of urination and also slight discomfort while unrinating. The tip of my penis is also very tendor and sometimes painful. I do not have any bumps or open sores on my genitiles. What STD does this sound like?
Thank you for query.it is not clear about the morphology of rash and exact site duration partner history etc. as there is yellow discharge and burning urination.it may be due to Urinary tract infection or urethritis .it can be bacterial usually.you need to take plenty of water.take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin after consultation with your doctor.keep the genital area clean.treat the partner also with antibiotics.avoid sex till they resolve.also use condoms after they resolve for few days.consult doctor if does not subside to rule out other causes and for further investigations .You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
