Are Severe Dizziness, Tachycardia And Hypoxemia In An IPAH Patient Anything Serious?

My wife was diagnosed with IPAH about a year ago. Since then she is on a couple different medicines. For the last couple weeks she has been getting dizzy and feels like she is going to pass out. Today while sitting on the couch eating raspberries her heart rate jumped to 185 and Oxegyne dropped to 62. Is this a problem

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding whether dizziness tachycardia hypoxemia with a blood pressure of 180 following a diagnosis of IPAH is a cause for concern I will suggest yes it is a serious condition due to possible development of hypertensive heart disease

In view of this please see a cardiologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
