Are Severe Painful Cramps Around The Waist During Pregnancy A Concern?
I am 41 weeks pregnant and my due date was the 2nd but I go in the 8th this morning at 3 I was woken up by cramps around my waist that out me in tears. I took a hot shower to see if it helped but it didn t the cramps are so bad it hurts to stand up from sitting or walk around sometimes... Should I go to the hospital ??รท
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. As indicated, if you have completed 40 weeks, then you have reached the term. As you are experiencing cramps (which could be false labour pains), it would be advisable for you to be monitored by getting admitted in the hospital and not wait till the due date. Depending on the status of the fetus, even a call could be taken to induce labour, if necessary. Kindly consult your treating doctor at the earliest and do the necessary as advised.
