Hello,

You have a past history of suffering from depression and have been on anti- depressant medicines. Now you are experiencing tremors and speech disorders. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP or a Neurologist as chronic intake of anti depressants may damage brain (motor / sensory functions). Genetic factors, vitamin D and vitamin B12 deficiency my cause MS, slurring of speech & tremors are neurological symptoms of MS.

Your treating Neurologist may recommend you to do few blood tests and investigations (CT, MRI, EEG), NCV tests and nerve biopsy if needed. Get treated at the earliest. In the meantime, take food rich in vitamin B12, vitamin E or supplements. For slurring speech you should get connected to a speech therapist, you need regular speech therapy and exercises to strengthen your muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
