Are Small Spots On Chest And Stomach Area Signs Of Chicken Pox?
Hi there, my daughter is 7 fully immunised although has a few spots appear on her chest and stomach the past week. A few more have appeared over the past couple of days. Could this be chicken pox? They are similar looking to a pimple. She feels well. She said they are not to itchy.
As you describe the bumps more likely they may be caused by the chicken pox virus. You can attach a photo of the rash in reports for me to see it. If she was vaccinated for chickenpox then this possibility doesn't exist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
