Are Sore Throat And Lump Like Swelling In Throat Signs Of HIV?
Hello I was recently exposed to someone who was tested positive with hiv about 5 weeks back, but three weeks ago I came down with sore throat. I had two enlarge lymph nods one one on each side of my neck. As I got better both lymph nodes started to get smaller, but one stayed and usally shrink or enlarge as the day goes on ( it fells kinda of rubbery). Now I have started to notice that part of my throat on the left side that there is a little bit of an enlargement that is different for the other side of my throat. The locating is at the base of where my jaw and neck meet. I have also notice that I have an enlarge lymph node near my groin on the right side. There no pain when I touch it and it s hard and it s about the size of (if smaller) that of a grain of rice. What does this mean to you
I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. I would advice you to consult a doctor and get yourself checked up for possible HIV infection. You would require a blood test for HIV.
It is best to get you status checked up after exposure to HIV positive individual.
