Are Sore Throat, Nausea And Fever Symptoms Of Swine Flu?

I have recently been in contact with someone with swine flu ( they just found out today) we were on holidays in Bali and spend a lot of time with this person. Couple days ago i have have developed sore throat ,nausea vomiting and chills and fever . Could it be swine flu?

I have gone through your query. Swine flu also start like usual flu with sore throat, fever , nausea etc. Later on respiratory discomfort is more in case of swine flu. Only way to find it out is throat swab. But it is not good to wait till that. As you had recent history of contact better to take anti viral drug oseltamivir. This is usually given 75 mg twice daily for 7 days for those who are being suspected for swine flu.
