Are Sore Throat, Voice Loss Symptoms Of Recurring Pneumonia?
I was diagnosed with pneumonia 2 months ago and give antibiotics. My last xray (1 month ago) show I still had pneumonia in left lung. Now I have a sore throat and am losing my voice. Are these new symptoms related to the pneumonia or can they make it worse? I am wondering if I should treat them more seriously than a cold? Thank you
Definitely treat the problem seriously. Any infection involving the Laryngeal inlet- Voice box we should take it serious. Pneumonias need proper assessment / treatment. Meet your chest physician and ENT surgeon.
