Are Sores On The Genitals Symptoms Of Herpes Simplex?

So maybe two years ago I was diagnosed with hpv.. Can that go away after I got the biopsy and freeze treatment ? A few years later which was a year ago I then got diagnosed with herpes simplex one as long with bacterial vaginosis at the same time. Can herpes simplex one give the option to have sores on the genital area as well? I haven't had any but the time I went to get diagnosed. It's been a long time since I've had anything, but what is the difference? Can hpv cause any symptoms such as sores ?? I'm so confused and just want to put my mind at ease.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Genital Herpes is caused by Herpes Simplex Virus II and it can causes herpetic sores over the genitals also and clusters of sores is the presentation of the genital herpes..
So in case if you are diagnosed with genital herpes then sores is the presentation of the herpes.
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and a blood test and viral culture can further help in diagnosis..
As far as warts are concerned there can be presence of a single or multiple warts but the appearance for a cold sore is in the form of clusters of fluid filled blisters while wart can be in the form of a small thick tumour like mass and wart is altogether different it can be ruled out by a dermatologist easily..
In case if it is genital herpes you will be advised to to take oral antiviral medicines like Acyclovir, topical ointments like Valacyclovir [valtrex] and also abstain from sex to prevent transmission of infection..
