Are Stomach Cramps And Fluttering In Pelvic Area Signs Of Implantation Bleeding?

Hi, yesterday and today I ve had very mild cramping randomly throughout the day and about 30 minutes ago I noticed about half a dimes size of pink/brown blood. I m also experiencing light fluttering what seems to be in my pelvic area. I m supposed to start my period in a few days, but I have never spotted before a period. Could this be implantation bleeding?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you are not using any contraception and you are sexually active, it can be implantation bleeding. However for reassurance ultrasound pelvis and beta HCG after few days can be done to confirm.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a healthy life ahead.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
