Are Stomachache, Diarrhea And Rumbling A Cause For Concern?

Stomach discomfort after Donating plasma. Hi doctors I am 21 and I recently donated plasma today for the second time. After both donations I ve had extreme discomfort in my lower stomach accompanied by rumbling and diarrhea. Is this normal or something I should worry about?

Hi,

Noted your history of donating plasma, I think it is blood donation and you developed pain in abdomen, rumbling and diarrhea.
I think this is heard for the first time in my life.
The most probable cause I can think about is the anxiety or the stress that you developed.
This causes symptoms of IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
So do not worry.
If the symptoms persist consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation and send sample of stool for tests as there might have been gastroenteritis that developed at the same time. Get treated as per the cause found, if required.
If the problem settled then this might repeat with similar incidences which gives you stress and anxiety.
