Are Swelling And Hardness In The Vaginal Opening Signs Of An Allergy?

Hi, I am Joyce, my vigina opening area is swollen and hard. I have had this problem off and on for two months. My doctor said it was probably my bladder dropping. I do not believe that is the problem. I am really worried. It is not an allergy. Please help.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query,
I have read through your query and I can understand your concern. It would better if you could revert back to us with an updated query stating all details related:
- How long has it been since your symptoms have started?
- does the swelling comes out on walking or straining during stools?
- does it go back on its own or you have to push it inside?
- do you have any other associated symptoms like constipation, bleeding per vagina, urine retention?

Kindly revert back to us with an updated query as it would help me to stage your prolapse. You may also avail the option of 'Ask a Specialist' so that you may direct your query to an OBGYN for better help.

Hope I was able to answer your query.
Thank you
