Are Swelling In Glands Of Penis And Fever Due To HIV/AIDS?
Hi doctor ..!! My age is 19 ..!! Day befor yesterday i went to gb road with my friends and had sex ..!! I paid her extra for doing smootch ..!! After having sex i m having swelling in my glands and today i had fever ..!! Please tell me if i m sufering from HIV/AIDS ..!! .? Please if yes do tell me how to cure it i want to live my life ..!! Please dont disclose my id ..!!

Earliest HIV manifestations can occur only after 3-4 weeks. Not earlier than that. Fever might be due to some ordinary viral or bacterial infection acquired through close contact or through air born infection due to close contact.
Swelling of penis is due to some inflammation either due to irritation or infection and not due to HIV.
Consult your physician for fever and inflammation of glans. A blood work for STD/HIV is essential after window period.

You are just 19 yrs old and had sex with sex worker after sex you developed FEVER, swelling on glans ( you mentioned glands ).
Now read this carefully :
Approximately 50-70% of infected individual experience an acute symptoms following primary infection . The acute syndrome follows infection by 3-6 weeks .
In your case just day one .
Fever and swelling on glans may be due to some stds or herpex simples ( not hiv/253657?iL=true" >AIDS) .
Don't take any tension .
Antibodies to HIV begins to appear within 2 WEEKS of infection.
So , you have to wait .
Get in rapid blot test as early as possible for HIV confirmation .
Need not to worry , now a days even HIV positive sufferers survive normal life for 30-40 yrs .
But be careful in future and if possible avoid risky encounter . Good luck.
