My 84 year old father has swollen ankles, is urinating frequently, legs hurt, irritable lately, forgetfullness sometimes and can t sleep at night. He said last appt doctor told him he had PRE DIABETES Isn t the symptoms I listed above more like Congestive Heart Failure....Scared s

Frequent urination may be due to Diabetes or proctitis. Swelling legs may be a congestive cardiac failure or renal failure. So investigate thoroughly.
Do ECG, ECHO, Renal function Test, LFT, X-ray chest, Serum electrolytes, Blood sugar level and review.
