Are Tender Breasts And Missed Periods Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

I have a record on my menstruation since December and I have observed that my menstrual cycle is not the same every month. Like, Dec-Jan = 31 days cycle, Jan-Feb = 28 days cycle, Feb-March = 26 days cycle. And now its 35th day since my last period. I m currently active in my sex life. Is it possible that i m pregnant? I feel that my breast i sensitive when i touch and i don t have the symptoms of morning sickness like what everyone experience when they are pregnant...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Looking of your menses pattern...it's likely to be due to hormonal imbalance (pcod , ovarian cyst or thyroid problem)..which needs to be diagnosed &treated specifically.
But being sexually active, possibility of pregnancy can not be neglected. So you should go for home pregnancy test after 8 days realy in expected date of pregnancy to confirm/exclude pregnancy &then consult a gynecologist for further advise.
Thanks
