General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the semen analysis report you have posted.
1. Colour should be whitish normally and opaque gray could indicate infection.
2. Reaction, Fructose positive and Volume are normal.
3. Liquification time is delayed by about 30 minutes.
4. Total sperm count is within normal limits.
4. Sperm motility with actively motile is little less as it should be preferably more than 50%.
5. Sperm morphology with normal forms of 55% is acceptable.
6. Microscopy showing fewer pus cells and RBCs could indicate mild infection in genito-urinary tract.
Kindly take a course of Tablet.Levofloxacin once a day for 10 days to overcome infection.
Also, it would be advisable for him to take medications containing L-carnitine, Alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc and Lecithin as ingredients for a month and repeat semen analysis to look for improvement.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
