Are The Leg Weakness And Pelvic Pain Signs Of Cervical Cancer?
my leg muscles in my thighs are weak when I climb stairs. During my last pelvic exam I felt pain. The doc did not notice and I did not get to tell her. Also I have squamous cells or abnormality of cells. My pap smear came back abnormal. Are the legs weakness and pelvic sensitivity/pain signs of cervical cancer?
welcome to Health care magic. 1.Ther are these symptoms in the cervical cancer, but in later stages - but your symptoms does not suggest of cancer. 2.So its some general pain which you are thinking in terms of cancer. 3.If you are my patient, i would have sent you for a ultrasound and depending on the findings - a biopsy will be ordered and treated accordingly. 4.Mean while i would recommend you to get followed with investigations. 5.Hope it helps. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.

Hi pelvic pain and leg pain will be there in late stages of cervical cancer but in early stage there may not be any symptom so screening is done through pap smear ,these pains can be due to simple cervical infection also ,so don't worry and repeat your pap test
