Are The Scabs On The Cancer Patient Contagious?

I just found out I am expecting & my oldest has begun to hang out with a friend whom her mother has cancer of the bladder he is not sure what treatment she is undergoing however when I met her I was overwhelmed of how she is covered in what looks like scabs all over her body. Is this a reaction to her treatment should I be concerned him going over to there house & what germs he can bring home?

Hi,
I understand your concern. No cancer can spread by direct person to person contact. So he is not going to bring any germs to your home which can cause cancer. I cant comment about her scabs because we have to look at the lesion before we comment upon.

Dont worry.. Cancer is not a transmissible disease.
