Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are The Warts On The Penis Transmittable Through Oral Sex?
I have a wart on my penis. I talked to my doctor and he said it looked like a low risk HPV infection. I have gotten it removed, but recently one small wart came back in the same place. I am involved in a relationship and was wondering if I can give my warts to my partners mouth through oral sex.
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you are concerned about the risk of transmission of HPV warts through oral sex. HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) is a sexually transmitted virus and can get transmitted through unprotected oral sex.
So, I would advise you to use necessary precaution / protection while engaging in any kind of sexual activity with your partner. Please see a doctor for treatment of your HPV wart, to get it removed.
Wish you all the best.
Regards, Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar Consultant Psychiatrist
