Are There Alternate Medication For NF Tumors Insted Of Afinitor?

I just started Afinitor thru a study at UT the goal is to help slow down the growth of NF tumors. I have been on it 3 weeks plus to days the side affects are extreme. I cant go on I feel horrible I am calling the corrdinator Dr this morning to stop the meds.

I can understand your concerns regarding the safety of Afnitor. Other alternative for the treatment of NF tumors that can be Bevacizumab (avastin) however it may also cause certain side effects. Talk to your doctor for any other effective alternative.
