Are There Alternatives To Mifepristone And Misoprostol For Abortion Due To A Rare Cancer Gene?

My partner wishes to have an abortion. She has had numerous consultations but has been told due to a rare cancer gene she has, that she can t have mifepristone or misoprostol. Is there any possible alternative to this please? We are getting quite desperate now and any help, however unlikely, would be appreciated. Thankyou

Hello,

With your partner having a rare cancer gene, both of you need to be more responsible. In future do not be careless. You are advised to take your partner to a gynecologist and get her clinically examined. If your partner is found fit and her vitals are normal, the treating doctor may recommend vacuum aspiration or dilation and curettage (D and C) or any other method. You are advised to get your partner treated for the rare disease she is suffering from so that the episode may not be repeated again.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
