Are There Ant Side Effects Of Using Betnesol Injection?
i mm given betnesol injection from week 28,for every 2 weeks and i mm carrying twins.but so far i hav nt found having any problems but my doc said,its safe for the babies if they are born by week 34..does this injection cause any problem?i mm 28yr old and this is my first pregnancy,i weigh 78.5 by now,,is everything alright so far??

Hi, I have gone through your question. Early delivery at 34 weeks is recommended in monochorionic monoamniotic twins. In the rest type of twins, the delivery should occur by 37-38 weeks of gestation. Betnesol injection is given to accelerate the lung maturity in fetus. It has no harmful effect on the mother or fetus.
The type of the twins is assessed by the ultrasound.
