Are There Any Contraindications In The Current Medications?
Current Medication List, June 19, 2014 Medication Unit Measure Daily Qty METFORMIN HCL 1000MG TAB 2 GLIMEPIRIDE 4MG TABLET 1 CARVEDILOL 12.5MG TAB 2 SOTALOL 80MG TAB 2 KLOR-CON 10MEQ TAB 1 LOSARTAN POTASSIUM 25MG TAB 1 SIMVASTATIN 80MG TAB 1 LANTUS SOLOSTAR PREFILLED AM 17u & PM 15u 2 ADULT-STRENGTH ASPIRIN 325MG 1 Are there any conflicts with daily usage of all of the above?? Is it OK for me to take Aricept and/or Namenda daily with all this?
Carvediol and sotalol can interact and normally their combined use is not recommended unless the benefits outweigh the risk. You can consider speaking to your doctor regarding the combination.
Carvediol and sotalol can also interact with losartan to cause an increased effect and these combinations are also normally monitored
Losartan, carvediol, sotalol, aspirin can also increase potassium levels and you are currently using a drug for potassium level so this means that it needs to be very closely monitored so it does not go above normal.
