Are There Any Drug Interactions Between Gabapentin, Benedryl, Ropinirole And Naproxin?

I have been given gabapentin 300 mg/daily at night for pain most likely caused by arthritis. The prescribing physician also said it would work as a sleep aid which has also been an issue for me. I am a 70 yr. old male and am also taking benedryl as a sleep aid, ropinerol for restless leg syndrome, and Naproxin, also for pain. Though my physician was given a list of these other drugs, I was concerned after limited reading of some side effects that the combination might have negative effects over the long term. I have been on thegabapentin for 1 wk. and, so far, all symtoms seem to have improved. Do I have any reason for concern?

It isn't totally known. Some interactions are that benedryl and gabapentin both have sleepiness as their biggest side effect so both together while not fatal might cause increased sleepiness and you might want to avoid driving the first time they are used together to see if one is too impaired. Otherwise serious interactions are quite UNLIKELY and even minor ones are unknown but probably not.
