Are There Any Long Term Effects Of Fusing C6-7 And C7-8?

I was in an accident and I had to have c3-4 c4-5 and c5-6 fuzed. C4-5 was already fuzed. I have pain in my upper shoulders if I do any kind work. I also still have some a tingling feeling in my left ring finger and small finger. My doctor wants to fuze C6-7 and c7-8. I have a lot of degenerative arthoritiz in my neck. I would like to know if the last two discs are fuzed what is going to happen to me 10 to 15 years from now. Will I be able to move my neck at all?

After going through your query I came to know that you have already fused c3-c4,c4-c5and c5-6 already fused. Now your doctor wants to fuse C6-7 and c7-8. It means your spine will not have movements from c3-c8. So your cervical spine will have little movements. I think after 15 years you will little side to side movements.
